Welsh has been a full-time artist for the past six years with studios in Perth, Australia and Blackburn, UK, and has been painted a total of 40 murals. She also shares her work on her Instagram account where she has attracted more than 13.4 thousand followers and has hundreds of likes on each post.

Her multidimensional works highlight complex issues like intersectionality, identity and other topic bordering on the human condition today. The public murals she created as well as immersive gallery presentation are built intuitively. The drawings follow a meditative style.
Currently, the artist is an adjunct professor at NYU Tisch in the Interactive Telecommunications Program. Despite her work as a teacher, she combines technology with personal story telling and visual art. All her global drawings are posted on her Instagram page.
