]]>Shaping colorful balloons into our favorite animals is an art in its own right and no one does it better than talented 29-year-old Japanese artist Masayoshi Matsumoto, who makes store-bought balloon animals look like a joke.
The young artist uses balloons to create astonishing lifelike animal sculptures that will cheer up any party. Matsumoto has been making balloon animals for ten years now, so it’s safe to say that he has reached expert level – he is no longer using any adhesive, marker pens or anything else than good old balloons and air.
He says that he’s always been fascinated with nature and the diversity of the natural world has remained his main inspiration all these years. The ideas for specific animals don’t just pop in his head, instead, he spends time planning his creations, after which he works for 2-5 hours to bring his idea to life.
