Bean’s owner says that her pet tasted bananas for the first time when he was about 9 months old. He wanted only a sniff and ended up liking this fruit very much. Now, cats shouldn’t be eating too much fruit, including bananas, so, unfortunately, Bean doesn’t get to eat his favorite treat too often.

“His vet knows about it because we’ve seen her several times this last year or so for his bouts of uveitis that he’s had a small problem with but he’s doing great and it is unrelated. She got quite a kick out of his photos. Banana would be unhealthy for a cat if consumed regularly though. So it’s definitely not a diet staple for him,” Bean’s owner told Bored Panda.

Bean’s other favorite snacks include Noosa Yogurt, scrambled eggs, veggies, and cheese. His unusual taste in food and adorable photos gained Bean more than 11.3k followers on Instagram.
