]]>Worcester is an illustrator and animator based in Kansas City, whose fascination with art can be traced back to his childhood. He came very close to giving up his passion and pursuing mechanical engineering as a safe option, but his outlook changed after his illustrations experienced a boom on social media in the midst of the pandemic.
With enough time on his hands to dive head-first into the world of illustration, Worcester was able to build an impressive following and develop his signature style. He now specializes in creating “vibrant and colorful worlds filled with light, magic, and just the right amount of nonsense” – and ghosts often sneak their way into these magical worlds.
If you’re expecting his illustrations to be scary just because they feature images of dead spirits, think again. He’s more interested in exploring what makes these lingering souls human, and his illustrations show them enjoying mundane activities that made them happy while they were alive, from reading and painting to grocery shopping and fishing.
