This talented Dutch illustrator is using the power of art to transport us into her imaginary world, where everyday magic reigns supreme and winter wonderland is just around the corner.

Bennink has been sharing her illustrations with the world for a few years now, and the reason why she decided to embark on this journey is quite peculiar. She was always craving cozy and comforting places and decided to use her artistic talent to create them on her own when she struggled to find them in the real world.

“I can’t stop creating coziness. It started because I couldn’t find the warm, soft, comforting, slightly magical pictures that I was looking for deep inside. So I started making them myself! I love creating worlds that evoke feelings of coziness, security, and wonder. It just makes me happy!” she writes on her official website.

Bennink’s finds inspiration all around her, but some of her recent illustrations are a homage to the warm and soothing beauty of winter.
