]]>The floral glasswork features seven plants found in the vicinity of Madison Square Park including Daffodils, Camellia, Magnolias, Red Buds, Witch Hazel, Hellebores, and Hydrangea.
These flowers were selected because they bloom all year round and to correspond to the objective of the project, which aims to make the station a “delightful place to enjoy during every season.”
The 28th Street station recently opened to the public after its six-month long renovation.
