]]> For most people, clothes represent a way to express themselves to the world. But for artist Helga Stentzel, they are a way to express her thoughts and get creative in an exciting and unusual way.

Stentzel is a London, UK-based artist who creates intriguing visuals with inanimate objects. While she sometimes uses food or household items for this purpose, her preferred choice is clothes.

By arranging pieces like shirts, pants, pajamas, and socks on a clothesline, Stentzel creates all sorts of fun illusions of existing and fantasy animals. The list includes foxes, horses, cows, and even dragons.

According to Stentzel, she aims to help people find “magic” in mundane things with her art.

“My art is about finding magic in the mundane, seeing beauty in imperfections, and connecting to our reality in a new way. I love noticing playful similarities – be it a sweater on a clothing line looking like a horse or a slice of bread resembling a dog’s head,” Stentzel explains in an artist statement shared on her official website.

]]> Although they say you shouldn’t play with food, you might be tempted when you see the works of Helga Stentzel. This Russian-born visual artist creates fun visual stories full of puns and funny references using food.

By combining various foods with small digital interventions, Stentzel is able to create intriguing and funny scenes that gained her large following in social media. In her works, avocados become a group of singers, bananas turn to ducks and egg takes the form of Elvis Presley.
