She enjoys decorating her paintings with dried flowers to make them more picturesque, and each one is followed by short descriptions in an attempt to educate the public about the incredible diversity of insects.

]]>“It takes me less than 5 minutes to do the repair,” the artist told Bored Panda. “You have to work fast, to avoid stressing the butterfly out any more than necessary. I have a friend who works at a butterfly conservatory, and I have seen his ‘Frankenstein’ butterflies flying around there, so I knew it was possible. I asked him for advice, as well as consulting the internet.”
Her butterfly wing transplant was a success and the surgeon received more than 35 thousand likes, 33 thousand shares, and four thousand comments.
