]]> While Swiss artist and photographer Fabian Oefner works in various media, he is arguably best known for his acclaimed “Disintegrating” series. In the series, Oefner showcases cars in a really unique way by dismantling them, taking a photo of each piece and then arranging it all into one amazing image.

For his latest entry in “Disintegrating” series, Oefner managed to get his hands on one of the most stunning cars ever produced, 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV. The artist spent two years working on this car, which is valued at $2 million and ended up taking more than 1,500 photos of Miura’s components.

The final product ended up showing Lamborgini in all its beauty, while also giving away an impression that the photo was captured at the moment when the car was in mid-explosion.
