She draws inspiration for her work from everything that surrounds her but has developed her unique imaginative style through reading fantasy and sci-fi novels and watching Studio Ghibli’s animations.

The prolific artist wants her illustrations to look as realistic and alive as possible but also charm the audience with a dream-like vibe at the same time. When drawing, she is continuously exploring everything that brings immense joy to her soul. After trying a variety of different topics and sources, Lua found that food illustrations bring the most delight to both her and her followers, so she started focusing more on this subject.  

Her biggest motivation for creating art lies in her wish to shape good, positive stories and communicate them through her realistic-looking illustrations with her audience, so she captions each of her delicate illustrations of mouth-watering foods with a message expressing her personal experiences. 

Lua is currently living and working in Hilversum, The Netherlands, but dreams of moving to Scotland one day.

Although, I have reached many people, I never got that one commission or collaboration everyone dreams of, the one that would allow me to demonstrate my skills and be seen by other people who might need my services.”
