]]> Tattoo artist Marta Slawinska specializes in designing minimalist, whimsical tattoos inspired by the botanical world. In the world where it seems that everything has already been invented, it’s not easy to come up with something original, and yet simple and elegant at the same time. Slawinska’s contemporary tattoos are a big hit – she has over 42,000 fans on Instagram only.

“The idea of contemporary tattoo describes designs that actually break from that which we see as conventional,” the artist says. “My work is a summary of art practice and past experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. My tattoos oscillate between visual minimalism and botanical illustration.”
