The “strings” of the piano are made of paper strips connected to a tension mechanism similar to a guitar, using worm-gear (the worm is made of paper while gears are from cardboard).

“Soundboard is combined with stiffness frame and made of 2.5mm cardboard enforced with stiffening ribs. Hammers – from paper and cardboard, dampers – from rolled up a paper napkin, keys – from paper. The body is made of cardboard and painted,” Zholner wrote on his YouTube channel.

The detailed construction is available on the Only Paper forum Russia.
