Emily Botelho is an embroider who made a career out of her craft about a year ago. In her work, she seeks inspiration from the beautiful marine landscapes which she often visits. On her trips, she photographs nature, then prints her photographs onto cotton fabric and with long straight stitches, tight beadwork, seashells, semi-precious stones, and tridimensional tufts creates her masterpieces.

Well before diving into the world of embroidery, Botelho was working in the fashion industry. The Manchester-based artist, who goes by the name Salt Stitches on social media, shares her work on her Instagram account where you can find remarkable images of her creations.
