On her trips, she photographs nature, then prints her photographs onto cotton fabric and with long straight stitches, tight beadwork, seashells, semi-precious stones, and tridimensional tufts creates her masterpieces.

Well before diving into the world of embroidery, Botelho was working in the fashion industry. The Manchester-based artist, who goes by the name Salt Stitches on social media, shares her work on her Instagram account where you can find remarkable images of her creations.
