Greg Olijnyk is a graphic designer who has an interesting hobby, which helps him relax from his demanding day job. Olijnyk creates cardboard sculptures that are inspired by Steampunk and Sci-Fi.

 Olijnyk’s sculptures are highly detailed and often have moving parts. For example, the robot sculptures have moving limbs while the wheels on vehicles can rotate. His engineering efforts don’t stop here, however.

In some cases, he fits solar panels and installs motors, which bring his creations to life.

“Even if, once behind glass, they remain frozen in a pose, I like to know that the capacity is there to bring them to life,” Olijnyk told Colossal in a recent interview.

Artūras is Lithuanian artist who finds his inspiration in steampunk and turns everyday items and ordinary trash into awesome sculptures.
