]]> Jedediah Corwyn Voltz is a Los Angeles-based artist who is best known for his works in building props for movies, TV shows, and commercials. Recently he decided to use skills he acquired in more than a decade of work to launch an intriguing project called Somewhere Small.

This project sees Voltz building three houses but not in a way you would usually see them built. Instead, this talented artist builds them around bonsai trees and other plants, creating real miniature masterpieces. So far he created several variations of treehouses including watchtowers and windmills.

So, if you’ve always wanted one of my #somewheresmall pieces, but couldn’t afford one, today might be your lucky day! ? Due to unforeseen circumstances involving a sudden move, the client who commissioned this piece has had to back out. Bummer for them, but great news for someone else, because, since I always ask for a deposit, I can offer this piece for substantially less than normal! I almost decided to keep it, because it looks so cool in my front window, but instead, for today only, I’m offering this piece for 40% off! ??? This piece features a freshly spring trimmed 5 year old Crassula Ovata “Gollum” plant that makes the coolest trumpet shaped leaves, is very drought resistant, and does well anywhere in the house with a bit of sun. I’m not posting this piece in my store, so contact me directly through Instagram or Facebook if you’re interested.
