]]> It’s funny how one thing can lead to another and turn into a whole big thing. That’s exactly what happened in the latest series of artwork from Robin and Jacqueline, the animators behind PompousMelon.

The story goes is that they would try and come up with cute rhymes about fruits and vegetables. Eventually, it stuck and they started drawing about them until he found himself having an entire salad of characters (get it?).

Called Fruits in Suits, the animators tried to illustrate various fruits and veggies in rhyming clothing.

Care to try and guess all of them?

]]> Toronto-based animator Kevin Parry didn’t mind spending many hours to create the stop-motion video that you can see below, in which we see the inside patterns of various fruits and vegetables.

“This looks super tedious, but I actually had a lot of fun slicing them frame by frame and seeing the results come to life,” we read in the video description.

The video offers a glimpse at the work behind the screen so you can appreciate the process behind the seemingly simple montage. We must say, slicing up piece by piece and taking photos in between doesn’t seem like a fun way to spend the day, but we’re still mesmerized by the result. See it for yourself.
