A few days ago, the internet was moved by a viral picture of some caretakers and gorillas in their care.

The gorillas posed properly for the viral selfie. They bent slightly and folded their arms, much like a human would.

The men in the picture were identified as Mathieu and Patrick from the Virunga national park in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The gorillas are orphaned and both females, named Ndakazi and Ndeze.

Pictures also surfaced of the caretakers with the beautiful creatures when they were younger. They have now grown and trust these humans completely.

The pictures were posted by so many social media accounts. Many people were happy to see such pictures and not pictures of poaching as we have seen in recent times.

Other people made jokes about the pictures, but overall, it was a beautiful sight for a change. Have you seen this picture on your timeline?  See the picture below.
