A few years back, a friend of Jessika showed her a post on social media about a fox kit up for adoption. Foxes are usually wild animals that can’t live with humans and should never be raised as pets, but the foxes advertised in that post come from a line of foxes that have been domesticated for over a century. This meant that they were used to humans, and couldn’t survive in the wild. And they needed a home.

Jessika decided to take in one of those baby foxes and name her Juniper. Her life hasn’t been the same sense. Raising a fox is no simple feat – even domesticated foxes aren’t fully suited to our modern lifestyle, and require permits, a fenced yard, a specialized vet and very, very patient owners.

But there’s also something magical about the experience. Juniper is an intelligent, expressive fox, and Jessika even describes her as “more human than animal.” She loves playing, running, eating socks, and cuddling with her human. And above all, it’s heartwarming to see what a loving home Jessika has given her.

Denyer took up photography as a hobby only five years ago and despite the fact he has no professional training, he’s taking some stunning wildlife and nature photos.

The story of how he started doing photography is rather peculiar.

“About five years ago, after suffering two Ischemic Strokes (caused by blood clots in the brain) I started to do nature photography as part of my recovery”, Denyer shared on Bored Panda.

“I am self-taught having never had the time or money to pursue any formal education in photography, but I seem to have a natural talent for it. I love nature photography and now make my living from selling prints of my work at various art shows.”

This talented man is taking photos of birds, mammals, insects, as well as some mesmerizing landscape shots.
