We can count on the Grammy Awards to give us countless viral moments, and this year’s show didn’t disappoint. From emotional acceptance speeches, epic performances, and historic wins, here are five viral moments from the Grammys that got everyone talking.

Beyoncé’s Shocked Face

In addition to winning album of the year for Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé also won best country album, and her shocked reaction immediately became a viral meme.

Kendrick Lamar’s Winning Streak

Kendrick Lamar walked away with five trophies at this year’s Grammy Awards, and everyone in the room was on their feet and singing along to the beat of “Not Like Us” after he won record of the year.

Chappell Roan’s Speech

Chappell Roan delivered one of the most memorable acceptance speeches after winning the best new artist award, criticizing labels for failing to offer livable wages and health care to emerging artists.

Viral Performances

This year’s Grammys have given us many epic performances, by the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Charli XCX, and Chappell Roan, but none created as much commotion as Benson Boone with a rendition of “Beautiful Things”.

Taylor Swift & Cynthia Erivo

Taylor Swift and Cynthia Erivo were seated next to each other at the Grammy Awards, and they went viral after reenacting the viral “holding space” moment from one of Erivo’s Wicked interviews with Ariana Grande.

Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” is one of the biggest hits to come out this year, and Inés Pérez loves it as much as the rest of us. This Spanish illustrator drew the lyrics of this song in its entirety, imagining what it would look like if it was set in a fantasy land.

Inés Pérez is a talented illustrator from Madrid, Spain, who goes by @ine8s on social media. Her drawings are mostly inspired by popular culture, and we’ve seen her use them to pay homage to some of her favorite movies, TV shows, and artists, from Taylor Swift to Chappell Roan.

She illustrated several comics inspired by Swift’s songs, including “No Body No Crime” and “Betty”. She decided to give Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” a similar makeover, imagining the women from this song as two fantasy heroines who will never get their happily ever after.

“So much work and time went into it and I’ve looked at it for too long so it’s hard to appreciate it fully right now, but I’m actually so proud of it. Also, as a disclaimer: historical accuracy was not my goal this story takes place in a fantasy land lol,” she wrote on Instagram.
