Berlin-based jewelry brand WALD incorporates shells and corals into its summery collections. Inspired by ’90s nostalgia and trips to the beach, their trendy pieces have amassed more than 40k fans on Instagram, and we can see why. The brand works closely with German biologists who supply the shells and corals and ensure that they are not on the protected species list.
Nigeria-born, New York-based designer, Teni Adeola (aka Tia) is known for her vibrant, summery pieces. At only 22, her clothes (think sheer ruffles) were sported by megastars like Gigi Hadid, Kali Uchis, and Dua Lipa. “She’s ready to be one of the greatest female couture designers in the world,” announced Teen Vogue. “We’re both passionate about social justice and equality, and we’ve chosen to pursue a creative career that affects change: giving plus-size women access to designs and styles they’ve been told (either directly or through what’s currently available for them to shop) that they shouldn’t wear,” they added.
“We believe babes of all sizes deserve bold, fashion-forward statement pieces without compromise,” reads their website. “At Premme, we think that clothing should be about expressing your personality and having fun, not feeling limited by society’s current fashion rules.”
