“I started making these illustrations of my partner and I because I wanted to express my love beyond words! They had become really fun to make, so I kept drawing more and more for him and decided to share it with everyone as well,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda.

She explains that growing up she was, and still is very infatuated with cartoons, comics, and video games.

“I am always motivated by other artists, games, music…life in general! Of course, every artist has the occasional slump, you just have to find something to spark your inspiration, pick up a pencil, and start drawing,” she said in an Instagram post.

“What is Love? Love is made up of little things all around you. Because love is everywhere, all you have to do is open yourself up to it. Try to see, listen and feel things differently, you will find that everything is in love,” the artist told Bored Panda and added that his illustrations prove that love is everywhere and in everything.

The Kuala Lumpur-based Swee’s has been featured in various media all over the world, such as IdN (International design Network), Readers Digest, M le weekend magazine of Le Monde (France’s leading newspaper), SwissMiss and more.

“I started turning these memories into parenting cartoons and letters that I will one day give to my son when he is old enough to appreciate it (maybe thirty years later when he has his own kids?!),” Jui shared on his personal website. “But in the meantime, I’m sharing our journey and laughs with others.”

In one of his latest creations, the illustrator introduced to his followers how he met his wife and the mother of his child.

“I usually draw parenting comics about the funny things I experience with my toddler so that he can look back on them in the future. But I also want him to know the story of how I met his mother, which I finally got around to drawing,” he added.

Los Angeles-based contemporary fine artist Amanda Oleander illustrates love in the most genuine way, showing what love really looks like through her own experience.

Known for her adorable drawings “depicting life behind closed doors,” Oleander’s illustrations featured homey scenes inspired by her own love story. Her drawings offer an intimate glimpse at the couple’s everyday moments. Though most of her work featured herself and her fiancé, Oleander noted that each scene is universal.

“Most of my current illustrations are inspired by my personal love story with my fiancé,” she told MyModern Met. “I illustrate our story and I have come to find by doing so I am also illustrating the love stories of thousands around the world. [It] is very nice to know how similar we all are no matter what language we speak or where we are from.”
