I LOVE visiting #Boston, and the fact that some of my best friends live there makes it even better (sadly, none of them speak in that epic Boston accent yet) 😍 Mosaic theory tidbit: usually, there is a line that traces the perimeter of the main subject. This technique is called Opus Vermiculatum (because it worms around the edges). Sometimes, like in this case, there are two (or more) rows of this type of tiling ☝🏼✨ — Thank you all for the awesome feedback on what you’d like to see in my upcoming #fauxsaics class, which will be full of information and techniques like the one I just shared.
