Nick Misani is a digital artist who creates travel-inspired mosaic designs, among many other projects. His mosaic designs are gathered under the name Fauxsaics. “I started a passion project called Fauxsaics—a series of travel-inspired, typographic mosaic illustrations,” Misani’s website reads.

The artist also works as freelance designers and has collaborated with many well-known brands such as Apple, Airbnb, PepsiCo, Target, Penguin Random House, etc.

I LOVE visiting #Boston, and the fact that some of my best friends live there makes it even better (sadly, none of them speak in that epic Boston accent yet) 😍 Mosaic theory tidbit: usually, there is a line that traces the perimeter of the main subject. This technique is called Opus Vermiculatum (because it worms around the edges).
