]]> Talented Italian illustrator Alessandro Pautasso has an intriguing take on pop culture art. Pautasso, who mainly works in digital art and mixed media, creates illustrations that show pop culture characters as abstract figures.

Pautasso’s artwork is characterized by the inclusion of various geometric shapes that form the subject while using numerous bright and pop colors. This results in astonishing pieces of art that have quickly captured the attention of internet users and brought Pautasso a big social media following.

“You know, I am simply a nostalgic fan of the ’80-’90s which is why I often draw about pop culture on my personal projects.” – Pautasso told Fubiz in a recent chat. “With my artwork, I just take a break from my daily working reality in an advertising agency. “

]]> If you are looking for your daily dose of pop culture art, then you came to the right place. This time around, we want to share with you some amazing portraits made by talented Russian illustrator Viktor Miller-Gausa.

Miller-Gausa, who is also a designer and art director, started drawing portraits as a bet. His friends told him he can’t draw caricatures, so he decided to prove them wrong and spend an entire month doing just that. This talented artist, who is based in Saint-Petersburg, then transitioned to making portraits of famous movie and comic characters as well as drawings of actors and singers.

So far he has done portraits of Arthur Fleck from Joker, Billie Eilish, Kurt Cobain, Jim Carrey and many more. Miller-Gausa often changes his style depending on the subject, doing both colorful and black and white artworks.

Не ожидал такого отклика на сторис 🙈решил сделать пост. В 2001 году на экраны вышла первая часть истории о Гарри Поттере и с первых кадров Северус Снейп один из самых запоминающихся персонажей. Очень ярко и неистово Алан Рикман сыграл этого персонажа 💙 да и Дамблдора так жалко не не было, как Северуса 😔 И вот вопрос, какой факультет выбрали бы, будь распределительнаяшляпа у вас на голове? “Joker” 2019. Это было настолько ошеломительно громко, искренне и так гениально просто, что после сеанса еще пару дней есть о чем подумать, перечитать и пересмотреть прежде всего в себе. Совершенно новая история, история которая не пугает, а старается предупредить, рассказать и поделиться чувствами. От красоты кадра, до глубины мысли. И все же, спорт это искусство. Баскетбол — один из немногих командных видов спорта, который мне нравится. Но! Меня немного удивляет, когда звезды спорта вдруг идут в кино (есть очень крутой ролик с Гарри Олдменом на этот счет) и их называют актерами. Вот например рестлер Скала 🌚 вдруг актер (хотя очень сложно его считать таковым) и меня это немного смешит. А вот монетизация своего имени это вполне нормальная и логичная история. «Космический Джем» с Джорданом не считается, потому что это исключительно имиджевая история. Чего думаете об этом? ]]> It is hard to imagine a future where pop culture isn’t appreciated, especially given its popularity in the present time. Still, Prague-based 3D artist Filip Hodas decided to make an effort and show us a scenario where pop culture icons are thrown away and forgotten.

Hodas makes amazing illustrations in which pop culture meets a dystopian future, but not in a good way. His works depict the likes of SpongeBob, Pac Man, and Mickey Mouse as monuments and objects that are neglected and left to rust and be consumed by time.

]]> Fernando Nunes is a talented artist from Brazil who draws colorful illustrations in a unique style. His works are usually inspired by pop culture motifs and the world that surrounds him.

Nunes started drawing since a young age, and thanks to the support of his artistic family, he managed to turn that into an art career. He is currently working as an independent illustrator and designer, doing both commission work and visual art.

According to Nunes, his works start as a rough paper and pencil sketch, which doesn’t contain many details, but hints at the overall idea of the piece. He then polishes the sketch with art software and brings out his vision of the final product.

“I try to find the meaning of unimaginable and exaggerated, I like to explore the fantasy and the things that are not yet known, taking as inspiration the aspects and movements that Nature provides us,” Nunes says.
