The film garnered instant attention online by the general and expert audience and it served as an introduction to her conceptual work, often described as cyberfeminist. 

Pierce’s video works have been shown at MoMA, NY, MdbK, Leipzig, Athens Biennial, Palais de Tokyo, and many other international museums and galleries. She has a BFA degree from the School of Visual Arts and has received many acknowledgments for her work during the last 10 years.
