Students can get quite creative when it comes to making excuses and asking for extensions on their deadlines. Literature professor Morgan Hunter has heard it all, or at least she thought so until receiving an email from one student who recorded a song to ask for additional time to complete his assignment.

In a viral video shared on TikTok, Hunter showed an email from an unnamed student who explained that they had statistics exam they were unprepared for and would not be able to put enough time to complete the task for her class. They also attached a file titled “EXTENSION.”

The file was actually a song in which student the student was asking for an extension while also using the usual excuses including that their computer crashed and that their dog ate the router so they don’t have the internet.

“I swear college kids these days will do ANYTHING except write their actual essay,” Hunter shared in the video, which has more than 19 million views.

Well… should he get an extension? ? #college #finalsweek #teacherproblems (yes he gave me permission to post)

Hunter also shared a follow-up video after many TikTokers rushed to the comments section to ask whether the student got an extension. According to Hunter, the student got the extension, and so did the entire class. Additionally, she explained that the song was actually part of the assignment.

Haunted houses are always a great mix of scary and fun. Sure, all the zombies, fake blood, and jump scares will make you a bit startled, but you know nothing of that is real.

The only way to get a proper haunted house experience is to go to a theme park, or at least that is what we thought until we saw a video from TikTok user @utube4oscar.

In a viral clip shared back in October, @utube4oscar demonstrated how they built a haunted house by himself in his garage. After watching it, we got the impression that they did a better job than most theme parks.

The TikToker included some amazing animatronics like a Reaper puppet master and electrocuted zombie, as well as cool animations like ghosts and an axe-wielding murderer trying to escape through the locked door. The best of all is that they created all of the props and effects by themselves, each taking two to three months to complete.

The clip ended up getting close to 19 million views and 20K comments, with internet users being amazed by @utube4oscar’s efforts.

“This is top tier homemade haunted house!,” one TikToker wrote in the comments section.

“Bro has better effects than most haunted houses,” another added.

Commuting to work is one of the toughest parts of any job. You have to get up earlier than you would like to, deal with the crowded public transportation or heavy traffic and are already tired before you even start to work. But you might feel a bit better about your commute after watching a viral video from a TikTok user named Jackson.

Jackson recently shared a clip on social media that documents his daily commute in the city of Chongqing, China. It starts with him heading down his 18-story apartment building that has no elevator to the 12th floor, which is surprisingly also a ground floor.

The TikToker then takes a subway that goes through residential buildings before arriving at the city square. But as it turns out, the square is actually 22 stories above ground.

Once he gets off from work, Jackson decides to take the bus, but it’s once again a wild ride.

Jackson’s video ended up getting more than 31 million views and 22K comments. Internet users were equal parts impressed and puzzled.

“Does Google maps work here? Do any maps work here? How do maps work here!!,” one person wrote.

“With my sense of direction I will leave home one day and never return,” another added.

Dogs are much more clever than we give them credit. A recent funny viral clip recently shared on TikTok by user Lucy Ganney is a great example of that.

In the video, Ganney’s beloved Labrador Ozzie can be seen approaching his owner with a popcorn bag in his mouth. He brought the popcorn bag from the kitchen to Ganney and exchanged it for a treat.

However, just as Ganney was getting ready to enjoy her popcorn, Ozzie decided to steal the bag, probably hoping he would get a few more treats for his delivery service.

“This room service is a scam. Delivers me some popcorn from the kitchen then steals it back after payment,” Ganney shared in the video.

Internet users were left in stitches by Ozzie’s ingenuity. The clip received 3.3 million views in just a couple of days and prompted quite a few jokes from delighted TikTokers.

“The value of the popcorn far outweighed the digestive biscuit he had to take it back sorry,” @rsthree wrote in the comments section.

“bro discovered infinite cookie hack,” @yujabingsu commented.

“He said that was a counterfeit biscuit,” @mydietdrkelp added.

These days, it appears that you can buy everything on Amazon, including a house. Content creator Nathan Graham, aka Unspeakable, recently decided to order one and ended up being pleasantly surprised.

Graham documented his purchase in a viral video that saw him placing an order for a house on Amazon for less than $40,000. The house was apparently delivered in a few days and turned out to be a lot better than you would expect.

At first, the house looked too small to be suitable for living. However, after Graham and his friends “unfolded” it, the house became quite spacious, offering a fully equipped bathroom and several rooms.

After the first video got more than 22 million views, Graham shared several follow-up clips. In one clip, he revealed a huge order of items he bought on Amazon that he’ll use to furnish the house.

Next clip captured the full potential of the house when all the furniture and appliances are in place.

TikTok users ended up being impressed with the fact that you can buy a house on Amazon and shared their amazement in the comments section.

“I actually think this is cool it would be easy to get land somewhere and put this up and live decent,” one TikToker wrote.

“That’s nicer, and I think bigger than the house I live in,” another added.

Other users pointed out that there are even cheaper options available on Amazon, including one that costs $8,800. One person who works for the company that sells these houses also shared they offer different sizes.

When life gives you a pack of blueberries, you make a smoothie or a blubbery muffin. But what do you do when life gives you $700 worth of blueberries? This is a question that TikTok user and book writer Jason Pinter recently had to figure out.

In a viral video shared on TikTok, Pinter explained that he recently made a typo in a grocery delivery order online and was delivered $700 worth of blueberries. The clip shows two big bags full of blubbery containers sitting on his floor.

“So what should I do with all these? Pie? Jam? Stomp on them and make blueberry wine?” Pinter asked his social media followers.

TikTok users were quick to share some suggestions in the comments section. A number of them suggested Pinter should return the blueberries, while others advised him to freeze them for later use. On the other hand, some simply used the opportunity to crack some jokes.

“I wish I could afford to accidentally spend $700 on blueberries,” one TikToker wrote.

“This would bankrupt me,” another added.

Pinter has yet to share an update about what happened with all the blueberries, but we really hope they didn’t go to waste and that he managed to use them all.

Real estate agents are known to use various tactics in order to swing the market in their favor and outsmart the buyers. Just recently, one realtor organized a buyer tour for a house that wasn’t even for sale. Unfortunately for him, the homeowner captured the event on camera and later shared it on TikTok.

TikTok user @honeysmyguarddog recently uploaded a clip from her Ring camera that shows a real estate agent pulled up to her driveway. He rings a bell, but no one opens since the homeowners are at work and the kids are at school. Soon, potential buyers join the realtor, and together they start inspecting the outside of the house.

@honeysmyguarddog is watching this on her phone and activates the alarm. The group returns to the front, after which the realtor enters the house through the back door and lets others in. They spend around 20 minutes going through the rooms before walking out.

“Now, mind you, my dog is home. Apparently not a very good guard dog, but she’s home,” the TikToker user explains in a voice-over.

@honeysmyguarddog Had I not had a Ring camera I would never have know this happened at all!! #ringdoorbell #houseforsale #realestatescrewup ♬ Oh No – Kreepa

The original video, which already hit 17 million views, was followed by a part. 2 that shows the police arriving just in time to catch the realtor. The homeowner also comes shortly after, and the officers enter the house to check for stolen items.

@honeysmyguarddog Part 2 of the day the real estate agent showed my house even though it’s not for sale. #ringdoorbell #houseforsale #realestate ♬ Oh No – Kreepa

In a couple of subsequent videos, @honeysmyguarddog explains that the realtor apologized for his actions and explained it was all misunderstanding. According to his story, he was supposed to show the neighbor’s house, who told him to enter through the backdoor.

The TikTok user also added that the police said they could do nothing and that she would have to be satisfied with an apology.
