Commuting to work is one of the toughest parts of any job. You have to get up earlier than you would like to, deal with the crowded public transportation or heavy traffic and are already tired before you even start to work. But you might feel a bit better about your commute after watching a viral video from a TikTok user named Jackson.
Jackson recently shared a clip on social media that documents his daily commute in the city of Chongqing, China. It starts with him heading down his 18-story apartment building that has no elevator to the 12th floor, which is surprisingly also a ground floor.
The TikToker then takes a subway that goes through residential buildings before arriving at the city square. But as it turns out, the square is actually 22 stories above ground.
Once he gets off from work, Jackson decides to take the bus, but it’s once again a wild ride.
Jackson’s video ended up getting more than 31 million views and 22K comments. Internet users were equal parts impressed and puzzled.
“Does Google maps work here? Do any maps work here? How do maps work here!!,” one person wrote.
“With my sense of direction I will leave home one day and never return,” another added.
