]]>TikTok briefly ceased operations in the U.S. on January 18 after the Supreme Court upheld the law banning the social media app unless it divested from its Chinese parent company ByteDance. All hell broke loose after TikTok was removed from Apple and Google stores in the U.S. but it only took 14 hours for its services to be restored, in the face of a potential 90-day reprieve from the recent ban.
TikTok’s future in the U.S. remains uncertain, and its users went through all the stages of grief – including having a laugh about the whole ordeal. Many have joined the rival Chinese app REDnote, while others relied on humor to deal with the TikTok shutdown.
Both the ban and TikTok’s quick return inspired countless hilarious posts on X (formerly known as Twitter). If you’re having trouble coping with TikTok going dark, these ten hysterical tweets will put a smile on your face.

]]>The post Christmas Argument about “Wicked” and Alien Drones Goes Viral appeared first on PlayJunkie.
]]>In a viral clip shared on social media, one TikTok user captured a heated debate between two family members about the connection between Wicked and alien drones.
In the video, the user can be seen trying not to laugh while two voices argue in the background.
“Are you kidding me John? A green woman sings about defying gravity and a week later there’s alien drones all over the sky? And think that’s a coincidence “one family member can be heard saying.
The “alien drones” is likely a reference to recent “mysterious” drone sightings in New Jersey that turned out to be a coincidence of commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones appearing in the sky in a larger frequency.
“It’s a metaphor, she’s defying the constraints of her society,” another responds.
“Soft disclosure, look it up,” the first person adds.
The argument not only entertained the poster but also other TikTok users, who compared the argument to the comedy Step Brothers, which stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.
“Why does he kinda sound like Will Ferrell and give off Step Brothers vibes?,” one TikToker commented.
“they sound like those 2 guys in Stepbrothers,” another added.
“Is that John C Reilly? “Soft disclosure, look it up” is giving step brothers,” someone chimed in.

Oozing with nostalgia, the place looked just like Pizza Hut restaurants from the 1980s and early 1990s. It has vintage signage, checkered tablecloths, retro decorations, and a few arcade games. Stepping in there must have a time machine effect.
TikTok users were genuinely impressed with Hubbard’s project and made sure to let her know about it in the comments section.
“Elder millennial and casual antiquer here. This is really impressive. Brava!,” one user commented.
“This is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. This hit in the childhood,” another added.
Hubbard’s clip was so viral that it even captured the attention of Pizza Hut. The pizza restaurant chain reached out to Hubbard and sent her some goodies to incorporate into the garage. This included two caps, a Pizza Hut official shirt for employees, a decal, and a $100 gift card she can use during her next trip to Pizza Hut.
