]]> Francine is an art director and illustrator with experience in branding, TV production, and 360 campaigns. The Malaysian-born, Detroit-based artist loves watching movies, analyze them, and “have an incessantly annoying pleasure in guessing a movie’s plot within the first five minutes it started.”

To make it more interesting, she came up with an idea to create a series of illustrations where she made movie posters without watching them first.

“For this project, I decided to explore this habit of mine,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “Instead of illustrating posters after watching them, I decided to design and produce the posters without experiencing the films.”

But to make it more enjoyable, Francine also made another set of posters after watching the movie, “just to compare how right, or horribly wrong, she was”. If you are curious to see Francine’s work, check out her Instagram profile called wei.design, or have a look at her personal website.
