]]>Shaun is a Malaysian-born pastry chef currently based in Kuala Lumpur. He creates gorgeous personalized cakes and pastries that are almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
Shaun didn’t grow up baking. In fact, it was only in university that he discovered his passion. He’d always been creative, and wanted to study design, but didn’t know what sort of design he was interested in. With the support of his mom, he joined a Hospitality Management course, where he bakes his very first cake.
That was it for him. He fell completely in love with the craft and decided that was what he was going to do for the rest of his life – he had found his calling. He had to start from scratch and learn everything there was to learn about baking, but in the process, he also found his own style. He learned he liked to design pastries shaped like cute animals and started combining his passion for visual art with his new professions.
Today, Shaun has his own baking studio, where he creates beautiful pastries shaped like animals or plants and flowers. Even if we can’t taste anything – just looking at his work is pure delight.

]]>Her baking journey began three years ago and according to her, she needs an average of two or three days to make each cake. “My cakes are pretty simple. I love simple modern looks that look more effortless then done up,” Darci shared in an interview with Bored Panda. “I care more about the cake inside then the looks.”
Darci loves including dogs in her artwork, and she has her own pet as well.
“I also have a dog that is newly adopted, his name is Kiwi and he is 14. He is my life and I think including fur babies into cakes is a fantastic idea! Everyone should do it!”

]]>As we all know, if something looks good, it’s almost certain it tastes good but what happens when something looks so good that it makes you feel guilty just for the thought of eating it?
Meet Dinara Kasko. She’s a 28-year-old pastry chef from Ukraine, whose creativity takes pastry to a whole new level. She has worked as an architect, designer
She models her own moulds and prints them with a 3D printer. There are no limits to her imagination but her most commonly used colors are black, red and white, while she also likes to experiment with plain geometric shapes like cubes, triangles and spheres. These unusual cakes are a huge hit and are definite proof that everything can work out no matter how strange it may sound. All we know for now is that cakes never looked so good and we’re hungry for more!
