]]>Recently, she created a series of drawings where she illustrated her personal frustrations and experience with dark thoughts. In the beginning, she just wanted to share the images with her friends, but in the end, she got the courage to post it so everyone she knew can see it.
“When other people saw the work, they connected with the stories from their viewpoint,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “Talking about suicide and people’s experience is very important. I want to continue creating my images to hopefully be able to help and reach out to others struggling with dark and suicidal thoughts.”
Her plan is to make 52+ cards with images and words to help support people who are feeling low with thoughts of suicide.

]]>“I illustrate anonymously the voices of individuals who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and mental illness to help destigmatize mental illness and also to help unburden them at the same time,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “People often open up to me in a way they can’t to family and friends.”
When this article was written, Bright has completed 105 images, while she is looking for more Voices. Her current goal is to illustrate 365 Voices, one for each day of the year.
She shares her illustrations on her social media accounts, on Instagram and Facebook, as well as on her personal website.

]]>“As I was alone and was uncomfortable at expressing my feelings through words to others, taking my counselor’s advice I started doing some artwork-series that acted as personal therapy,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “I took some time off of my schedule only to talk to myself and express these feelings through art and digital brush strokes. After completing each art-piece, I was left with a feeling filled with warmth and courage.”
