]]>In a clip shared on Instagram by Canadian digital creator Sirio Berati, Swift makes a journey from prehistoric times to the future. Using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, Berati imagines the “Shake It Off” signer as a cavewoman from 20,000 BC, resident of Ancient Greece in 500 BC, royalty in the 13th century, hippie enthusiast in the 1970s, and cyborg in 2231.
Switf’s journey through eras generated a lot of attention on social media. The video was viewed 4.3 million views and 170K likes on Instagram alone, while Berati estimates it got tens of millions of views across all social media platforms.
In order to create the viral clip, Berati used the AI chatbot ChatGPT to come up with prompts before entering them into ComfyUI, an open-source and free AI tool used to generate images and videos.
Berati is a big AI enthusiast, believing it helps creators to utilize their creativity in the best way possible.
“Of course, there’s controversy around it like everything with AI,” Berati told Daily Mail. “However, I think that AI is a great tool that empowers creators to push their limits.”

]]>In Hybrid Species, Hummel used digital tools including artificial intelligence (AI) to create surreal flower hybrids inspired by real-life flora. Each of these hybrid flowers looks familiar at first glance, but the more you explore their finer features, the more they look to be out of this world.
There are a total of 80 digital flowers in the series, with each one being a mash-up of various floral species as well as other botanical elements. While unsettling at moments, these creations are immensely intriguing and captivating.
“In this series, nature is portrayed not as it is, but as it could be—reimagined, reshaped, and rendered through algorithms. Hybrid Species presents a vision of flora from a parallel world, where nature is captured through a digital lens, without a mirror,” Hummel shares.
You can browse the full Hybrid Species series on Hummel’s website or continue to scroll down to check out some of the examples.

]]>Alsuairy, who is an avid sports fan, recently started an intriguing series of AI art that sees her place sports courts in the most surreal locations.
The series features basketball courts in deep mountain craters and underground caves, tennis courts surrounded by steep cliffs, and sports courts floating on the sea. They look so impressive that you’ll wish they were real and you can play a game, whether you like sports or not.
In most cases, Alsuairy’s works are set in real-life settings, with the ancient oasis city of al-Ula in her native Saudi Arabia being a particularly frequent source of inspiration.
‘This project embodies my passion for sports and my love for the stunning environment of AlUla, brought to life with the power of artificial intelligence,’ Alsuairy told designboom.

]]>demonflyingfox shared the trailer for his version of The Simpsons on YouTube, explaining that they wanted to capture the Super Panavision ’70 style. The term is used to describe movies and shows captured by the Panavision 70 mm spherical optics, which were popular from the 1950s until the 1980s.
The trailer quickly captured the attention of internet users and received close to one million views. Viewers are introduced to live-action versions of The Simpsons characters, who look strikingly similar to their animated counterparts. This includes the Simpsons family—Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie—as well as Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Moe, Millhouse, and many others.
If you like this reimagining of The Simpsons as a 1950s live-action show, you will be happy to know that demonflyingfox has produced plenty of other similar content. Their YouTube channel also has trailers for South Park, SpongeBob Squarepants, and The Family Guy, among other animated shows, and all of them are done in the same style.

]]>Str4ngeThing previously captured the attention of the internet with various AI projects that included applying Renaissance style to fashion, footwear, jewelry, and even luggage.
Most of them took inspiration from the period’s architecture in a unique way, and it’s no difference with their designs for iPhone cases.
Some designs have a Renaissance building carved on the back, while others feature sculptures you would see on squares or inside churches and mansions.
The artist also made an intriguing variation of the series that saw them add LED candles to the cases in order to further highlight certain elements of the case.
“We believe that art is meant to be experienced in every aspect of life, and with these Renaissance iPhone cases, you can carry a true work of art with you wherever you go. It’s not just a phone case; it’s a gateway to the past, a testament to the power of artistic expression,” the artist shares about the project.
These iPhone cases are currently not available for purchase. But hopefully, they will soon become a reality because we really want one.

]]>The game, developed by Caroline Buttet and Emmanuel Durgoni from Google Arts & Culture Lab, presents players with four similarly-themed artworks. Three of them are sourced from Google’s Arts and Culture collection, and one is created by AI. Your goal is to find an AI intruder before the time runs out.
While it may sound simple, the task is actually much more difficult. This is why the game gives you four lives before it restarts, and believe us when we say you’ll need each one. You can test your skills by clicking here.
Sometimes, there are obvious clues that the art was made by AI, like a futuristic style, odd shapes, or an over-polished look. But other times, it is almost impossible to single out the artificial intelligence work.
Odd One Out is part of Google’s project to develop “AI-powered ways to play with arts and culture.”
“The starting point for these new experiments was applications of Google AI Image Generation Research to inspire cultural discovery and learning through play,” Google says about the game.
