]]>Inaba’s pieces feature wild animals like deer, wolves, and foxes captured in motion as they seemingly disappear in thin air. The artist achieved this effect by sculpting one half of the animal’s body in solid iron while the other half consists of intertwined iron wires.
According to Inaba, these iron wires, or formless “blanks” as he calls them, aim to spark the imagination of the viewer and “make room for stories to develop.”
“By merging sculptural form with the viewer’s imagination, sculptural expression reaches new heights no longer bound by physical limitations. In sharing memories that the structural forms evoked with other viewers, we can recognize and cherish the richness in diverse ways of thinking,” Inaba explains in an artist’s statement shared on his website.
Inaba’s iron sculptures attracted the attention of art enthusiasts from all over the world, bringing the artist international acclaim and recognition. His pieces have been exhibited across his native Japan and other countries, including France and Italy. ]]>Artist Sean Kenney uses LEGOs as the main material for his large-scale animal sculptures. From zebras and eagles to insects and sea creatures, Kenney manages to craft a realistic depiction of animals from every corner of the animal world by using only small plastic bricks.
According to Kenney, LEGOs have been his fascination since a young age. This fascination persisted even when he grew up, with the only difference being that his creations became more sophisticated.
But even as his approach changed and his projects took months to complete, building LEGO models never stopped affording him the same kind of fun.
“As an art medium, it’s wonderful to see people’s reactions to what I create. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen someone look at my work and frown,” Kenney said in a recent interview with deMilked. “The LEGO makes it inherently whimsical, which I love. Art doesn’t have to be so serious all the time.”

]]>Wilson’s art is minimalistic in a way, which only enhances its beauty. Using old spoons and forks that nobody else wanted, he curates pieces that speak for themselves and look like they came out of a dream-like fantasy movie.
It’s not easy to see art in things that others consider garbage, but it’s necessary that more people do this and make an effort to be more eco-friendly. Wilson is one of those people who does exactly that, saying that his work is a reflection of the environment he lives in. “The upcycled work I create is a testimony to the belief of conserving and appreciating our resources,” My Modern Met cited the artist.

Sometimes they sleep. Sometimes they eat. They are living ordinary everyday lives just like us. I would like keep insisting on reality and producing my life-sized work as much as possible in order to convey their lives.”
