Artist Creates Animal Sculptures Using Old Silverware

South Carolina-based artist Matt Wilson uses old, abandoned silverware to create beautiful art. He makes abstract animal sculptures that we fell in love with at first sight. His sculptures are then connected to pieces of wood that gives them a cool, rustic vibe.

Wilson’s art is minimalistic in a way, which only enhances its beauty. Using old spoons and forks that nobody else wanted, he curates pieces that speak for themselves and look like they came out of a dream-like fantasy movie.

It’s not easy to see art in things that others consider garbage, but it’s necessary that more people do this and make an effort to be more eco-friendly. Wilson is one of those people who does exactly that, saying that his work is a reflection of the environment he lives in. “The upcycled work I create is a testimony to the belief of conserving and appreciating our resources,” My Modern Met cited the artist.
