When Golden Retriever Billie’s mom Emily Buchenberger sent her to a puppy play hour she didn’t know what to expect.

She had no idea Billie would form such great friendships. Billie happened to automatically make friends with the two other Golden Retriever puppies at her play hour, they were inseparable from the start. They became so close that they started having meetings under different play objects, hiding from the other dogs.

“Most puppies ran around or jumped onto the objects, but not the goldens,” Buchenberger told Bored Panda. “They almost exclusively played with each other underneath the objects in secrecy.”

One day another puppy parent wanted to know what was so secretive that the puppies needed to be hidden from the other dogs, so he raised the box they were hiding under and he found the dogs holding hands. How cute is that?

“We found them all calmly interlocking paws,” Buchenberger said. “They definitely were not expecting to be exposed and immediately dispersed. Soon after, they met back up underneath the bridge to secretly play.”

“Barley’s had Fluffy since the very first day he arrived home. Fluffy was bigger than Barley when they first met so they’ve really grown up together”,  Braley’s owner told Bored Panda.

Despite the fact that he’s destroyed all his other stuffed toys, Barley takes good care of his companion and never leaves his side.

“Oh my gosh, Barley brings Fluffy EVERYWHERE! Every morning, Barley wakes up and jumps up on our bed with Fluffy. Then Barley brings him out for a morning stroll. They chill together the entire day, it’s the sweetest thing.”

This adorable duo is now going viral thanks to their close relationship and they have more than 81 thousand followers on Instagram.

Thanks to his owners, Kim and Joe and his younger roommate, also a Golden Retriever called Addie, Jack leads a happy life. Addie proved herself to be the best friend, as she was a big help after Jake’s surgery. She was the one who guided him and helped him climb the stairs all the time.

“Jake follows Addie’s sound and smell. After Jake’s surgery, Addie wore a little bell on her collar for a while until he got used to tracking her on his own,” their owner Kim told Bored Panda.

Even though Jake is healthy now and has adapted to his new life, Addie is always by his side to keep him safe.

“He still bumps into things now and then, but he also navigates the house and our neighborhood walks with surprising ease. And thankfully, his playful nature has returned!”
