]]>This 26-year-old artist enjoys doing makeup for others and helping people feel prettier, but her true passion is using her own body as a canvas and creating stunning illustrations using makeup tools.
“I have loved art ever since I can remember. My creativity rocketed when I realized that my greatest canvas was my own body,” she explained in a recent post on Bored Panda.
According to Toma, she initially obtained a graphic design degree but wanted to give makeup artistry a chance. It wasn’t long before she discovered all the possibilities that makeup offers, and this prompted her to start making illusions and experimenting with visual effects.
Toma’s creations are super-impressive, coming with close attention to details and being very convincing. This is especially the case with some of her scarier works, which look like they came straight out of a horror movie.
“Makeup is my passion and definitely one of the best ways to express myself and show my creativity to other people,” she concludes.
Check out more of her works below.

With the magic of her makeup brushes, New can transform herself into a tiger, a Playboy Bunny, a burned victim, a character that would be perfect for some sci-fi movie, and so on.

]]>The post Texas Based Makeup Artist is Matching Her Beauty Looks to Her Manicures appeared first on PlayJunkie.
]]>The 23-year-old makeup artist from Texas attracted almost 75,000 followers to her Instagram, since starting her page @makeupbykay_19 less than three years ago. Kayla initially only shared photos of her favorite beauty products, and the amazing makeup looks she created using them, but that’s ancient history at this point.
She attracted a ton of new followers since she started taking photos of her eye makeup with her hand in the frame. Her manicures perfectly match each makeup look she creates and people started showering her with praise ever since she started this experiment.
What makes Kayla’s looks so amazing is the fact they’re not impossible to pull off. She’s a talented makeup artist, but her nails usually feature one-tone nail polishes from affordable brands, such as SinfulColors, Sally Hansen, and Floss Gloss.

]]>Marion Moretti, also known as Marion Chameleon on social media, is a professional makeup artist and YouTube star. She started out like any other girl, trying out different looks for herself and playing around with colors and shapes. Eventually, she decided to get into the field professionally and signed up for the Make Up For Ever Academy in Nice, France.
Most makeup artists go on to create bridal looks, work for TV, or even become the in-house makeup artist for celebrities. But Marion wanted to try something else. Instead of creating regular, everyday looks, she decided to try and push the boundaries of makeup. She started her own YouTube channel where she tries unusual, innovative makeup looks on herself, and transforming herself into everything from fairies to demons – like a real chameleon!
Today she’s a huge start with almost half a million subscribers. She’s still creating new crazy makeup looks, and reminding her audience that makeup doesn’t have to be all grown-up and serious – it can be fun, too.

]]>It was only when she started working at a piercing studio that she became interested in make-up. After an uninspiring data analyst role, she finally decided to pursue her makeup interest and enrolled at the London College of Fashion at the age of 23. “During my second year I stopped attending so I could concentrate on networking and shooting to build up a portfolio,” she says. A decision that turned out for the best.
Now, she’s a sought after make-up artist traveling the world with clients that include Kenzo, House of Holland, Browns Fashion and Opening Ceremony. Her work is predominantly within fashion, but there’s also a crossover into celebrity and music. “Each day is genuinely different,” she says.
“The industry is really fast-paced and the pool of talent is huge, so you have to keep up,” she stresses. “It’s important to develop a style – a brand even – but at the same time you need to be versatile and ensure you’re not alienating certain audiences.”

]]>How did she start creating Dinsey-inspired makeup? Rosa told Bored Panda, “I love Disney and drawings in general! I use the colors of the characters and their characteristics. For example, the villains I always try to make the make-up darker.”
Rosa goes beyond copying the outward appearances of the Disney Princesses, she designs based on the character’s personality and their best features. “For a character like Ursula (The Little Mermaid), I focus on dark colors and marked shapes. I think the right color is the most important and also the hardest. I haven’t done the Cinderella makeup yet because I haven’t found the right blue yet,” she told Bored Panda.

Charlotte was also 11-years-old when she began using makeup, and her sister was her inspiration.
“Abby really inspired me to start trying makeup as we had always done arts and crafts together when we were younger and then when Abby started using makeup it prompted my interest too,” Charlotte added. “Also watching a lot of YouTube makeup tutorials really made me want to learn how to do makeup myself!”

]]>British make-up artist Isamya Ffrench admits that making people pretty isn’t her thing. She’d rather use her models as canvases, upon which she paints. The result is both striking and eerie, attracting brands like M.A.C Cosmetics, Junya Watanabe, and Chloé.
“I’m just not solely interested in exploring what we are commercially fed as ‘beautiful’,” she once said in an interview with Forbes. “I have my own instincts about beauty and what moves me and that’s what I pursue.”
Eszter Domonkos’ makeup art focuses mainly around the eyes, adding a dose of playfulness to her eyelids. “I’ve always had an obsession with eyes, I just think they are beautiful,” said the Hungarian makeup artist in an interview with Office magazine. If you’re looking for a last-minute Halloween makeup look you’ve come to the right place.
We’ve never seen someone take to color as much as Lottie does. Known only by her first name, the self-made makeup artist incorporates glitter and neon into her eye-popping looks. Her clients include megastars like Drew Barrymore, Rihanna, and Emilia Clarke. Take note!
