]]>“I’ve spent most of my life scared of something,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “Anxiety is my monster. Incessant, often scary. Always lurking behind me waiting to ruin a perfectly good day with a panic attack.”
This time, Steward shares art which he created during anxiety or panic attack.
“Art is more than just creating for me; it’s a way out,” he added. “It’s a new perspective and a way to retreat to something positive in the face of a world that can sometimes feel like it’s populated with monsters. If there’s a way out, it’s through a door I create.”

“They are in very limited spaces, but the picture is quite colourful and almost cheerful because I wanted to use comical characters and not dramatic ones,” she explains. “The anxiety is not obvious in the pictures because it’s not properly there yet, but you get the feeling of it through the position of their bodies and the expression on their faces.”
