Artist Creates Art During His Anxiety And Panic Attacks

Brandon Stewart describes himself as a father, artist, tattooer, pyrographer, lover of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Indiana Jones. He is also a conscientious observer of the 80’s and an avid user of the scientific method. For him, the American astronomer Carl Sagan is a hero. Stewart also happens to suffer from anxiety and panic attacks.

“I’ve spent most of my life scared of something,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “Anxiety is my monster. Incessant, often scary. Always lurking behind me waiting to ruin a perfectly good day with a panic attack.”

This time, Steward shares art which he created during anxiety or panic attack.

“Art is more than just creating for me; it’s a way out,” he added. “It’s a new perspective and a way to retreat to something positive in the face of a world that can sometimes feel like it’s populated with monsters. If there’s a way out, it’s through a door I create.”
