]]> What do you do when your nieces and nephews ask for cash for Christmas and you don’t think that’s personal enough? According to this creative guy, you invent a unique way to pack it!

Donnachaidha Ó Chionnaigh is a graphic designer and video editor who found himself in front of an unusual challenge right before Christmas. Since his nephews and nieces didn’t want gifts for Christmas, only cash, he thought about finding a way to pack it in an unusual and memorable way. He designed the “packaging” inspired by old-school toys and the way they were packed. He put the cash inside little plastic boxes and glued them to the rest of the package.

We think this is awesome and that it’s definitely the thought that counts, plus the kids got exactly what they wanted for Christmas!

]]> Fame is a weird thing. On the one hand, it’s great that you’re well known and all. On the other hand, it’s very awkward when people don’t recognize you, or worse, mistakenly think that you look like who you’re supposed to be. This is something that pro skater Tony Hawk knows all too well.

Tony Hawk is easily one of the most influential people in skateboarding. He was the first skater to ever successfully land the “900”, which is a trick that requires the skater to rotate two and a half-times while on their skateboard mid-air, and he’s also quite well-known outside of the skateboarding circle.

One of the most well-known icons of the 90s and early 2000s, Tony Hawk has made appearances in various media outlets. This includes game shows, TV shows, music videos, as well as movies, and video games. Speaking of video games, he has his own licensed video game series, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. The series was insanely popular when it launched in 1999 and spawned as many as 18 total titles.

Put simply, Tony Hawk is pretty famous. You wouldn’t know that from the encounters he shares on Twitter, however.

One nifty Twitter user made a game out of it, asking others to do a quick google search of “Florida man” followed by their birthday. The results are totally hilarious. Some were cute while others totally messed up.

The game went viral and even singer, John Legend, played along and posted a screenshot of his results.

It was started initially on Tumblr by user gandalfsofa. So far, over 100 thousand people liked the tweet and hundreds have participated on all social media platforms.

It’s not too late to join the trend. Start by searching with your birth date. It should be fun.
