May is very passionate about gardening, foraging, and cooking, and she came up with a way to mix these hobbies into one. She’s using the veggies she grew in her garden to cook the most delicious dishes, in addition to using flowers and herbs to give her picture-perfect dessert a dreamy vibe.
“Gardening and cooking are therapeutic outlets for me. They help me be in touch with my ancestors, but they also help me be more in tune with myself. Each time I bring in something from my garden, I feel compelled to create something beautiful. That is where cooking comes to play,” she told Upike Magazine.

“My vision is simple; I just want to draw some yummy food art that can make people happy and eventually hungry! There was a time when someone said they look forward to their meal after seeing my artwork, and that made me incredibly happy!” the artist told No Issue.
In addition to becoming a huge hit on social media, with over 160,000 Instagram followers, Egg Butter Toast’s illustrations are available in many different formats. She’s selling everything from prints and stickers to keychains and tote bags inspired by her art.

]]>Mihailescu is a travel blogger from Romania, who fell in love with traveling during family trips as a child. She still fondly remembers her first trip to Turkey at the age of eight, when she was starstruck exploring old buildings, mosques, and crowded bazaars with her dad – and she wanted this feeling to last forever.
She decided to study law after finishing high school, but her sense of wanderlust was stronger. Volunteering with AIESEC in China and Egypt was a turning point, and she decided to keep traveling solo after getting her law degree.
“In 2019 I was in college, a burnt-out law student with not much of an idea of what I wanted from life. I just knew I had this strong desire to see the world, but I thought I needed to have a ‘real job’ to be validated by society. Now I know that’s not true, but I also know that Law school built my strong personality,” she wrote on her Instagram.

In a video posted on Boylei Hobby Time YouTube channel, this talented craftsman guided the viewers through the process of creating the snow globe. This included using resin instead of water so the glowing effect of the lightsaber wouldn’t be compromised.
“This week, I made a Star Wars snow globe. A glowing LED lightsaber probably wouldn’t survive being submerged in water, but luckily it does just fine in a ball of epoxy resin,” Caleb shared in the video’s caption.
Caleb is known for creating dioramas and models dedicated to fantasy, science fiction, and Wild West, among others. He is particularly a big fan of Star Wars, and his YouTube channel is full of fun and creative projects dedicated to this famous franchise. Check out more of them below.

]]>In a video shared on Instagram, which has already been viewed 28 million times, Saniatan takes a slab of brown LEGO and starts shaping it like it’s made of clay. He “cuts” it with a wire, places it on the potter’s wheel, and even sprinkles it with some “water,” which is actually just see-through bricks.
From there, Saniatan creates the shape of the flower pot, gives it an oven treatment, and even paints it. Of course, all of that is done with LEGO.
Instagram users went on to share their amazement with the video and Saniatan’s creativity in the comments section.
“Jaw dropping! You just keep getting better and better!,” one person commented.
“That’s actually an incredibly accurate demonstration of the pottery process!!!!,” another added.
This isn’t the first time Saniatan impresses social media with his stop motion animations focused on LEGO. A while back he also made a video in which he “painted” Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” using plastic bricks.

]]>According to Lee, he was always fascinated with the science of cells, the way they divide and grow from a single entity to a million multiplications in order to form a new life. This fascination prompted him to start creating segmented, geometrical forms that represent cells, embryos, and biological and molecular structures.
Each of Lee’s pieces, meticulously carved and pieced together from different pieces of glass using lamination, symbolizes “the building blocks of life as well as the starting point of life. “After the grinding and polishing process is completed, the piece becomes structurally sound but each of the parts that formed it remains clearly visible.
“I work with glass that has a variety of transparency, translucency, and opacity, the qualities that serve as perfect metaphors for what is known and unknown about life science,” Lee shares on his website.
Lee, who is a professor of art and head of the glass program at Southern Illinois University, has exhibited his pieces both nationally and internationally while receiving numerous awards for his work. His glass creations are also part of collections at the Barry Art Museum in Norfolk, Virginia, and the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, among others.
