According to Santy, the biggest inspirations for his works are folk tales and customs. However, he doesn’t view himself as a “storyteller” and instead lets his artworks “take the lead.”
Santy also credits Belgian painter Jean Brusselmans as a major influence. The discovery of Brusselman’s works prompted him to start finding an “enormous freedom in the expressive painting of typically mundane and everyday subjects.” Eventually, he discovered his own style and applied it to figurative works and still-life paintings.

]]>With his sculptures, Cailloux is creating a whole new world of unknown creatures that visit Earth. They belong to a Cailloux tribe and live on the stone planet MRCX. Most of these creatures resemble stones of various shapes and colors with minimalistic facial features.
The members of the Cailloux tribe are also characterized by having three legs. This is explained as their evolutionary trait that allows them to travel across MRCX with astonishing speed.
You’ll often find that these creatures are full of irregularities, cosmetic flaws, and unusual features. According to Cailloux, this is done by purpose. He isn’t striving to make a perfect piece and instead embraces when it doesn’t turn out the way he planned.
“I try to make visible the humanity that is hidden in us by pressing on the irregularities and flaws of a handmade work. Mistakes are then, for me, a source of happiness,” Cailloux shared with Colossal in a recent interview.
All members of the Cailloux tribe who visit Earth are available for adoption, and there is a long line of art enthusiasts who want to give them a new home. But you can still meet them thanks to Cailloux’s Instagram page, where he regularly shares his newest creations.

Her decorations are based on fiber art and crochet motifs and involve intricate and highly elaborated patterns. She also uses warm color palettes and buttercream to set herself apart from other bakers.
Thanks to her unique cakes, Wodnicki served as an inspiration to many home bakers who wanted to mimic her style. She viewed this as a compliment and even decided to share some of her knowledge, tips, and tricks with others through online classes.
“My passion is two-fold: baking a delicious cake from scratch and using it as a canvas to create a one-of-a-kind buttercream design,” Wodnicki says on her website.

“We love building, and we love tech, so we made Brickit — an app that scans jumbles of bricks and helps you turn them into starships, dragonflies, pineapples wearing sunglasses, and whatever else you can imagine,” the developers state.
The basic version of the Brickit app is free and available on iOS and Android smartphones. It can recognize around 100 most common LEGO bricks and comes with a database of more than 2,000 ideas. There is also a premium version that can recognize more than 1,600 different types of LEGO pieces.

Shilo is a versatile artist whose creativity goes beyond illustrations. Aside from having experience in artistic photography, she is also involved in the fashion industry, creating graphics for one Polish clothing brand. She is also interested in animation and weaving while planning to get involved in mural design and ceramics.

After the video spread on social media, The Dodo contacted Araujo to learn more about the background of the story.
According to Araujo, he and Tarcisio were hanging out at a bar near their apartment when they noticed a cat they thought was Kush. Worried that the cat might get lost, Tarcisio picked it up and headed back home.
Araujo was the first one to enter the apartment and figured out that Kush was already there. He quickly took out his phone and started recording, recognizing the comic nature of the situation.
After realizing there had been a mix-up, Tarcisio took the cat back onto the street. It turns out that Kush’s look-alike belongs to their neighbors, who are more than happy to let the cat explore a bit, considering they live in a gated community.

The woman was moved by the baby’s attention, so she changed her mind and decided to make a beanie for Romey and gift it to her once the plane landed. The family was in awe of the gesture, so they decided to share it on social media.
The video has received more than eight million views since being posted in January, and TikTok users seemed amazed by the story.
