]]>Mork is a cute rescue puppy who is going viral on social media thanks to his similarity to Baby Yoda. This adorable dog already has more than 121 thousand followers on Instagram.
Nikki Carvey, the founder of Road Dogs & Rescue who adopted Mork, said that the puppy was rescued, along with a bunch of other dogs, from a meat truck in China. Fortunately, Mork is a survivor and he managed to recover and get healthy over the past couple of months.
“He is sweet and friendly but still learning about love. His favorite thing is to just sit in the sunshine”, Carve said on Bored Panda. “The whole Baby Yoda comparison is fun, and he brings a lot of joy. I feel his story touches people’s hearts and we’ve had some beautiful messages from individuals who are struggling, who say that he makes them smile and inspires them.”
After he gets fully healthy, Carvey plans to train Mork as a therapy dog, because she believes his mission is to spread love and joy among people.

]]>Based in Udaipur, India, Animal Aid Unlimited is an organization that is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of animals. India’s attitude towards animals is pretty unique – animals are viewed as a natural part of everyday life, even in urban areas. So it’s not uncommon to see packs of dogs, a bull or a donkey walking the streets of Udaipur, and they aren’t considered “strays”.
But that doesn’t mean these animals don’t need help sometimes. The streets can be dangerous, and accidents can happen. Sometimes a puppy will get sick, a bull will get stuck in a narrow alley, or a donkey will get hurt. But what do you do when you hear the cries of a scared, hurt animal? In Udaipur, you call AAU.
The volunteers of UUA will arrive with their veterinary ambulance to take in the animal and get it to their headquarters, where it will receive medical care. Then, depending on the severity of each case, the animal will be taken in for rehabilitation. This can take anywhere between a few days and months, but the folks of AAU will not give up on any animal. They not only treat their physical wounds but also help the animals recover from any emotional trauma, with cuddles and kisses and all-round loving care.
When the animal is ready, it will be set free again, happy and healthy. And if anything happens again, AAU will be there to treat the wounds and heal with love.

]]>While almost all dogs are good by nature and just want some love and attention, certain breeds carry a stigma and are often left abandoned and unwanted on the streets or in shelters. Pit bulls are wonderful companions but are seen as brutal, violent dogs. That’s probably why Brinks’ previous owner had abandoned him, though there’s no way to tell for sure.
Brinks was left alone outside a private school in New York. He hadn’t been abused or neglected, but he was alone, scared and confused. Luckily, one person saw him and couldn’t ignore him.
Jn Bozak was leaving his apartment with his dog Demo when the abandoned pit spotted them from across the street and trotted over to say hello. The first thing Jon noticed about this strange dog was his huge, welcoming smile. He had no intention of taking in another dog, but he couldn’t say no to that face. He put up flyers around the neighborhood in case Brinks was lost – but when no one called to claim him, Jon knew he was his new dad.
Brink hasn’t lost that grin ever since. In every photo and video, he seems like the happiest dog alive. He must know how lucky he is to have found his forever family.

Mrs. Flans is a pawsitively fabulous dog that brightens up the day of everyone she meets, despite her disability. She is a Chiweenie, a mix of chihuahua and dachshund, which means she’s small but surprisingly fierce. And her special traits don’t stop there.
She’s albino, born deaf because of her breeding, has a tongue that is almost always out, extraordinary bat-like ears and only one good eye. Linda Alvarez is the proud owner of this lively, strong pup who has quickly attracted 18k followers on Instagram.
Linda saved Mrs. Flans from a backyard breeder and quickly fell in love with her outgoing personality, then made it her mission to share this beauty with the world.
