]]>The video starts with an image of a human next to one of the smaller rocks and continues by showing bigger and bigger asteroids compared to a truck, a house, and a city landscape. In a matter of seconds, we get to see the big asteroids that could easily cover the entire city like New York.
If you’re not scared by what you see in the video, remember that in 2018, the B612 Foundation told The Daily Star that “it’s 100 percent certain we’ll be hit, but we’re not 100 percent sure when.” This was the same year when Stephen Hawking wrote that asteroids are the Earth’s biggest threat in his last book Brief Answers to the Big Questions.

]]>The word of the world’s most popular sitcom characters reuniting for an HBO Max special spread out fast last week and the Postmodern Jukebox crew decided to celebrate that by producing their own version of I’ll Be There For You in several various styles from the 1920s to the 1990s.
Noting that they just couldn’t ignore the fact that Friends are coming back, the team shared the video writing “here’s our “Evolution of the FRIENDS Theme Song (I’ll Be There For You) Through The Decades,” starring our incredible Postmodern Jukebox family and featuring The Rembrandts (the guys that made the theme song) themselves!” See it for yourself below.

Along with the video, Shiryaev wrote: “Restored with neural networks 1911 New York footage taken by the Swedish company Svenska Biografteatern on a trip to America: FPS boosted to 60 frames per second; Image resolution boosted up to 4k; Resorted video sharpness; Colorized – I am still unsure about this, but regarding to high request from the subscribers decided to test DeOldify NN on this video.”

]]>Oscar-winning animation director Kunio Katō and producers Toshio Suzuki and Tomohiko Ishii created this short but adorable anime-style advert for Japanese convenience store chain Lawson. It’s only 15 seconds long, but it’s packed with cute characters and scenes that depict a common day at their store.
You can see the ad below. This is not the first time Studio Ghibli dipped into the advertising world. In fact, their collaboration with Lawson started nearly 20 years ago, in 2001.
