Pastry Chef Shows How to Make a Baby Yoda Cake

Natalie Sideserf is a pastry chef at Sideserf Cake Studio from Austin, Texas. In her new video, she demonstrates how to make the adorable Baby Yoda cake that’s so realistic we were actually disappointed when she cut it in the end.

You know which Baby Yoda we mean, right? That’s right, the star of the most popular memes at the moment that first appeared on The Mandalorian, a new TV show available on recently launched streaming service Disney+.

“I started out with four 5-inch round layers of vanilla cake,” Sideserf explains as we watch her continue adding vanilla buttercream. Minutes go by quickly as we watch the Baby Yoda being created and, before we know it, it’s already there in all its cuteness.

“I don’t want to do it, I don’t want to cut this one,” we hear her say in the end when it’s time to cut up the cake and try it. And we totally get it! See the whole process below.
