]]>After finishing her studies in Malaysia, she came back to her homeland and started a project titled What’s Inside where she breaks old things into pieces and creates stop motion animations.
“On Fridays, I pick a random product, I disassemble it, examine it and make a stop motion story with its parts,” the artist shared on her personal website. “We consume too many things to the point that we forgot the amount of work that was put into bringing even the tiniest pieces of things! We rarely see what’s inside each product thus treat it as one whole part; not as a plastic cover, with buttons, vibrator motor, mic and so on.”
So far, she broke down a blow-dryer, a stereo cassette recorder, a point-and-shoot camera, and an old mobile phone.

]]>We recently stumbled upon a cool video made by British animation studio Ritzy that stars Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in the main role. But the video doesn’t tell your usual Christmas tale about Santa’s struggle to get all the gifts delivered in time. Instead, it tells the story about perseverance and one deer’s attempt to recapture his magic.
The beautifully animated clip shows Rudolph as an old deer, sitting at his chair and watching a program about his former success. Despite his talent and success, some bad decisions caused him to lose his popularity and become unknown. Seeing how everyone thinks he doesn’t have his magic anymore, Rudolph decides he will show everyone wrong and reclaim his rightful place at the helm of Santa’s sled.

]]>The post Why Mirrors Don’t Flip the Image Upside-Down appeared first on PlayJunkie.
]]>“This video is about why words flip left & right (aka horizontally) in a mirror but not up & down (aka vertically). The answer has to do with specular reflection, mirrors being like windows into another world (alternate universes, just within and out flipped!), and transparency of the things we write on,” the video description reads.
As the narrator begins to explain, the answer behind this enigma is that mirrors don’t actually flip the images left and right, just like they don’t flip them up and down. The secret is often in the way in which a certain image (or text) is presented to the mirror. The only thing that flips is the direction into or out of the mirror. This is when things get a bit confusing, so we recommend you watch the video below to solve this mystery.
