2018 Pop Hits Become Holiday Songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jimmy Fallon

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda recently teamed up to spread the holiday joy by reimagining most popular pop hits from 2018 as holiday tunes.

Fallon opened the segment by telling his audience how he loves to sing holiday songs when Miranda got onto the stage.

“Are you saying that we should sing a medley of popular songs from 2018 but change the lyrics to make them about the holiday season?” – Fallon asked the Hamilton star.

“Yes” – Miranda replied.

The two then went on and did a mini live set during which they turned Camila Cabello’s “Havana” into a song about Mall Santa, while Post Malone’s “Better Now” ended up being a song about Christmas sweaters. Other songs which receive “holiday treatment,” included Migos’ “Stir Fry,” Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry” and Cardi B’s “I Like It.”
