Artist Creates Intricate Sketches By Drawing Millions of Tiny Dots

Josefine Svärd, aka Wildwither, is a 24-year-old illustrator who creates amazing stippling art.

Her drawings feature natural landscapes and wild animals that are composed of millions of tiny hand-drawn dots in intricate details. Each portrait is drawn in black ink, a contemplative process that requires an incredible amount of patience. The artist was very vocal about her mental health struggles on Instagram, sharing that being creative helps to calm her anxiety.

With over 75k Instagram followers, Svärd is very grateful for the amazing support she gets. This proves that her work is a beauty to see. “I’m stunned. I try to understand how this is happening but I don’t come up with anything,” she wrote. “This is just something I did because I loved to create and to ease my anxiety…I can’t believe I can celebrate another milestone like this. I am forever grateful, and so thankful for the amazing support I get from you every day.”

Should be getting ready for the christmas market in Gränna, but unfortunately I’m not going to particapate there this year… Really sad but I got all the information too late and everything just became to stressful… But don’t loose hope! My shining new webshop is opening right after new years and is going to have some real amazing things in it! NEW things! Pins, mugs, prints and stuff that haven’t and isn’t avalible in my society6 shop! And I’m going to a lot of markets in Jönköping in the spring snd summer of 2019! Day two! Let’s do this! Give hours next to my wonderful new friend and showing my art! I was so exhausted when I got home yeaterday.. And that was from only three hours with little poeple! Today is going to be crazy! Five hours and soo much more people are comming today! I will need all the luck I can get from you guys! . I bought a sallad yesterday that’s going to be lunch today, and some chocolate and a sandwich. That will do de trick I think! But I’ll maybe ask Jimmy to being some Cocoa or tea maybe.. Hmm… . Today is the day! I can’t believe it’s already here! I’m going to my first christmas market as an artist to show and sell ny stuff! I can’t believe this is actually happening!?
