While most people would just cover potholes with concrete, artist Jim Bachor has a different way of dealing with them. He fills them with interesting and sometimes cheeky mosaics that, turning potholes into an art piece.

This time he decided to contribute to New York’s infrastructure, and install mosaics in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Some of the motives he used included a dead rat, pigeon, portrait of Donald Trump, and a bouquet of flowers. Unfortunately, the city transportation department removed two of them (Donald Trump and bouquet installations), something that has never happened before. They did find their way to Bachor’s Instagram account before being removed, so you can check them below alongside some of his other New York located works.
