In the digital world today, hobbies like biking, running, hiking and other sorts of physical outdoor activities are already things in the past. Nowadays, most people prefer modern hobbies like playing video games, surfing the internet, or engaging in social media activities.
Guodong Zhao, Beijing-based illustrator and designer, decided to recreate animals doing these stuff too. In his latest series, Zhao presented amusing illustrations of animals doing the activities of a modern person. You can see a hippo playing video games, a crocodile watching some Netflix, and a polar bear browsing his phone while sitting comfortably in his Arctic habitat.
