Artist Reimagines the Garden of Eden as a White Wonderland

Artist Pamela Tan loves to explore various creative practices including art, architecture, and design. Her recent art installation called Eden, manifests Tan’s multidisciplinary approach, as it “blurs the boundaries between man-made wonders and the beauty of nature.”

In her project, she reimagines the magical garden as white wonderland, where crystal pebbles cover its pathways – defined by trellises and shaded by vines dripping with dew droplets made in glass. Eden, which is now a permanent exhibition in a Malaysian retail center, will take you to a paradise that only existed in our dreams.

“Eden wishes to bring you to re-discover the joys of looking closer, to cause you to momentarily suspend your beliefs and become a child once again,” Tan said according to My Modern Met. “To believe, if only for a moment, that you are actually in paradise.”
